After just about completing my first marathon last year I applied on a bit of whim for this year's London marathon. Low and behold I was allocated a place via Break's mini-ballot, and as part of the deal I am raising money for their very worthwhile cause. 

For those of you who aren't aware Break is a brilliant charity based in East Anglia that gives vulnerable children and young people the time, support, and care they need to achieve their full potential.

Whatever a child’s start in life, they believe that with the right support there is no limit to what they can achieve. Through innovation, lifelong relationships, and keeping our young people at the heart of what they do, they are transforming futures and changing lives.
