On September 16th 2015 our lives were almost changed forever because our youngest four years old son Jake was unfortunately involved in a road traffic accident when his mother, brother and he was about to cross a road.  Jake suffered a serious compound fracture to his lower left leg which was not a pretty sight by any means but an image that will be engraved into my wife and my memory for as long as we both shall live and no matter how anyone lives their lives, seeing your child involved in an accident is something you never want to see or wish upon anyone else. As well as the ambulances and paramedics  that attended the scene, another medic was instantly deployed via the air ambulance to help relieve our son of his agony whilst being prepared to be taken to the hospital by ambulance these people need at least £6,000,000 every year just to operate these people which are (myself included) just taken for granted that they will be there for you at a moments notice, AND THAT THEY WERE!

My family and friends want to help by giving something back by doing a fundraising event and raise as much money as we can by starting with a 36 mile paddle on the Brecon/Monmouthshire canal on June the 4th 2016.  This is just the beginning and who knows where we will going from here also most importantly a BIG thank you for your donation.
