Story

I am old, overweight, grey haired and probably suffering from the onset of my midlife crisis. I discussed various options with my wife such as a sports car or a motorbike, but in the end we settled on a physical challenge ..... so I am signed up to run the Berlin Marathon. This is most likely the last marathon I will do and as such I was looking for an iconic run. Berlin is perfect for that, and I also  have roots which are still somewhere in Germany.

To make it worth the effort I decided to run for the JDRF, as the lovely daughter of some friends is suffering from juvenile diabetis and I would be proud to make a contribution to any research into this condition.

It would be great if you could support me and the JDRF with as much as you can and in exchange I sent you a sweaty picture of me crawling over the finishing line near the Brandenburg Gate.
