Climbing Kilimanjaro has always been a goal of mine to do. To stand on the roof of Africa would be simply amazing.

I am going on the 16th October 2013 and will be ascending using the Lemosho route which is a longer route but gives me a greater chance of succeeding.

I am funding the trip myself so any money you donate will directly go to the charity Sue Ryder.

Sue Ryder holds a place in my whole family's hearts as they have helped us through a very tough time as it was where my mother spend her final few weeks as her battle with cancer drew to end.

The support they gave was well above the duty of care and the work they do is simply amazing.
