For the 15th time I aim to run the London Marathon though increasing years makes me add the caveat that I need to remain injury free!

This year my chosen charity is The Children's Society because of my belief that the way a society treats its children is fundamental to its prosperity. It has changed the lives of over a million children and needs help to maintain its vital work.

The Children's Society is a charity which fights for the end to child poverty, abuse, broken homes and vitally, cares for and seeks safety for those who run away from an interoperable home.

Recent events in Rotherham ( and other towns throughout the country) have reminded us of the need to protect  the vulnerable ,those with the least resources or fails to support them.

Please help me intros worthwhile cause and help the Children's Society in its fight to improve the lives of those who are, so often, the most vulnerable.
