Royal Navy AWT TE National 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hours · 3 June 2019

The Amelia-Mae foundation was set up when we lost Amelia-Mae to Neuroblastoma at aged 2. We, the volunteers of this charity, fight in Amelia's name to ensure no family goes unsupported throughout and beyond treatment. Please help us to sustain this support

Story

On the 3rd June 2019 me and Debs along with 10 other members of the Royal Navys Above Water Tactical from HMS Collingwood will travel to Ben Nevis to start & complete the National 3 Peaks Challenge within 24 hours, for the Amelia-Mae foundation. This foundation does amazing work to support families that have a children suffering from Neuroblastoma.

Neuroblastoma is an agressive childhood cancer developing from nerve cells called neuroblasts and affects over 100 children per year with in the UK alone. The treatment is particularly long in duration and intensive.

Our aim as a team is to raise enough money to send a family dealing with Neuroblastoma to Disney Land, Paris and give them an experience of a lifetime and do our best to put a smile on their face.

The National 3 peaks challenge involves climbing the 3 highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours, the total walking distance is 23 miles with an ascent 3064 metres and a total driving distance of 462 miles.
