Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
10 years ago on the 10th of October the words Ewing’s Sarcoma and Primary Bone Cancer entered my life and that of my Son Bradley, most who know me will know the rest of the story.
I started running a few years ago in order to raise some money for Bone Cancer Research and my running mantra now is ‘For Those That Can’t’, for those that would give anything to be able to run.
As this ominous anniversary comes around, being the month of October which I usually dread as it’s also the anniversary of Bradley’s death, I’ve decided to turn this month into a positive and focus my running into a challenge.
With the 10yr anniversary, the date 10/10 and 10yrs since Bone Cancer Research Trust began funding research to fight Primary Bone Cancers, I’m going to join in the ’10 for 10’ campaign by attempting to complete 10 x 10km runs during October.

This will include a mixture of official races, some existing local routes and will incorporate parkrun with additional freedom parkruns to make up the distance.
So…. 10 x 10 is 100, and if I get my planning right I’ll also complete my 100th parkrun on the day of Bradley’s anniversary too, the 29th October.
I’m hoping to raise some money for BCRT, I’ll appreciate absolutely anything that people would like to donate, I know that donation sources are becoming harder and harder to find and we are swamped with contribution requests, I do understand, so I really would be grateful for even the smallest amount.
