Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was introduced to Felsted. Aid for Deprived Children, now called UK Aid, at the beginning of this year. For the last twenty years a wonderful couple, aided by a team of volunteers, have been gathering donated humanitarian aid and delivering it to a hospital in Ukraine. The Chernobyl disaster occurred in 1986 and as a result of this the radiation fallout is now in the DNA of the people who lived nearby.  Consequently following generations are also suffering from numerous disabilities, and tragically this may continue for centuries to come. Revival, a rehabilitation centre was  set up to treat young children and UK Aid have been supporting it, not only with humanitarian aid but also monetary donations. Without the help of this charity it most probably would have closed along time back.
