Story
Four years ago my daughter Polly was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour. She had amazing care and it was successfully removed during 7 hours of surgery.
Last year we found that her tumour had started to regrow. Fortunately this is very tiny and is currently stable, however the type of tumour she’s got has the capacity to become malignant. Because of this, it has to be closely monitored and Polly will need further treatment at some point.
I already donate to one of her surgeons research projects so I have decided to try and raise some money for the National brain tumour research fund.
I am running the London marathon in April. This will be my second (and likely last) marathon!
I would be very appreciative of any donations - it all counts and I am grateful for any medical advances made in any area of brain tumour treatment.
Thank you! 😍 xx
