Michele's WING WALKING

My close friend Sally Taylor unfortunately passed away on 6th July this year.
Sally fought mouth Cancer, not just once but three times over the last 17 years. She has always been a truly loyal friend and most importantly supportive and inspirational to me, when I myself was diagnosed with Cancer some 16 years ago.
Unfortunately most of us have been touched by Cancer in some way, be it ourselves or our family and friends.
Sally would have always expected me to do something a little 'unusual' to raise money and awareness for this charity, and because she was so strong up to the very end, I am being brave and undertaking a Wing Walk for Primrose Hospice who looked after her, during the last few weeks of her life.
We all know how important it is to support these local hospices, as they all do an incredible job for terminal or life limiting illnesses each year as well as providing support for many of our loved ones.
Sadly, my fundraising can't bring my good friend Sally back, but it will give me comfort to know that it can go towards helping others, that may need that care and support in the future.
