I have not set foot on a yacht for nearly thirty years and have little knowledge of sailing but I have decided to take part in the Clipper Round the World Race 2019-2020 which will leave the UK on 1 September this year. I will be spending more than 100 days at sea and travelling more than 20000 miles over three legs which spread from the UK to Uruguay via Portugal, Australia to China via the Philippines and the West coast of the USA to the East Coast via the Panama Canal.

To give this once in a lifetime adventure some more meaning I would like to raise over the next few months the maximum amount of money for the race charity partner UNICEF.

Je n'ai pas le pied sur un yacht depuis presque trente ans et j'ai très peu de connaissance pratique de la voile mais je me suis inscrite comme équipière à la course Clipper Round the World 2019-2020 qui quittera le Royaume-Uni le 1er septembre 2019.
