Six years ago our lives changed forever when our beautiful baby daughter, Elodie, was born with underdeveloped eyes. Elodie was born with the rare condition called Micropthalmia which means "small eyes" and Coloboma with means "missing" and the part of the eye affected by this was the retina at the back of her eyes which did not form properly. She was registered blind at a few weeks old, however, a few months later the remaining part of her retina detached in her right eye and this was followed a few months later by another detachment in her left eye. 

Angel Eyes NI have been a lifeline for our family providing much needed emotional and practical support. They have been with us on our journey into the world of raising a child with sight loss. We would love all our friends and family to join us for a coffee morning to help raise some funds for this fantastic local charity and to help them to continue to carry on the tremendous support they provide to families like ours. We have created this page for our lovely friends and family who cannot make the coffee morning and would like to donate.
