I have this amazing opportunity to go to India and volunteer with Raleigh International. I will be helping to build sanitation units and educate the people in the community of Bangalore all about health and hygiene.

This is something that is reallyyy close to my heart! When I did my student exchange in North Carolina I went to Altamont Tennessee during Spring Break and volunteered in the deprived community there. I'm volunteering at Plan UK (please google if you do not know this NGO, they're amazing) and will be studying my masters in International Development. I really don't want to bore you guys, but I just want you know that I care about this. Raleigh International is the charity I will be going to volunteer in India with. It is them that have given me this opportunity. 

I can only do this if I fundraise £800 which will go to the resources needed during the trip. Help me, help those who need our help! Donating through JustGiving is super fast and totally secure. P.s. I will be in the rural part of India for about 3 months (basically all 2013 summer), living just as the locals do. This will not be a holiday!
