On Sunday 29 September, conquer 12 iconic London Bridges. Take on this 10 mile challenge and get sponsored for every step of the way to help us reach a future where diabetes can do no harm.

Story

On May 9th 2019 Lewis was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, he went to the gp surgery as he was always thirsty and wetting the bed, he was admitted straight away to hospital with his bloods sugars at 28.4 so extremely high, he was diagnosed straight away with type 1 diabetes, after 4 long days days of being in hospital he was sent home with insulin which he has to administer 4 times a day, it’s only been a month but his life is one big roller coaster at the moment, he’s had days of angry upset and just hating the world, he’s even had days where he wants to kill himself, heartbreaking, Lewis is adapting well to his illness, and is constantly learning new things everyday and will carry on through out his life learning.
Myself Michelle Bunning, Lewis Bunning and my sister Debbie green who is also type 1 diabetic and has been for 15 long years! We are taking part in the 10 miles, 12 bridges walk around London. All sponsors will help with more findings into the disease diabetes
