I have started this page to raise money for SANDS, the stillborn and neonatal death charity, which is tragically now very close to my heart since the loss of my neice Madison who was still born on the 5th August 2009. There is a link to the SANDS website to the right of this bit of blurb, please take the time to visit so you can see just how much they do for the parents and families like my brother and his wife.

After seeing the heart break and emptyness the loss of a child leaves, I felt I had to do something, even just this small thing to try and help.Nothing will ever bring back my beautiful neice, but if the money i can raise can help find some answers, and support all the families who have experienced this tragic loss, then I feel that maybe i have done something worthwhile.

This decided, SANDS have kindly let me run a little race for them next year in London. The distance of the race is not exceptional, considering the family geneics (brother Matt, you know what i mean), so to make the challenge that little bit harder, I have set a time limit of 45 minutes in which to complete the race, which for me is about 5 minutes faster than my previous PB for a 10k.
