Michelle Higgins is running the Coventry Half Marathon

Coventry Half Marathon · 23 March 2014
Some people find running and training easy... I don’t!! Finding the time to get my trainers on after work and other commitments is a challenge in itself. However, my competitive streak has made me challenge myself to make time and to push myself physically and mentally to complete the Coventry half marathon, raising money along the way.
I decided to raise money for Zoë’s place, a charity based in Coventry. Zoë's Place Baby Hospice provides respite, palliative and end of life care to families and their children aged 0-5 who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. By sponsoring me you will help make a difference to the lives of families who desperately need this support.
- £5 would cover medical supplies such as syringes
- £25 would pay for one hour of high quality care for a baby
- It costs £600 to care for a ventilated child for 24 hours
- £3,600 would fund the entire hospice for 1 day
- 1.3m to enable the hospice to open 24/7 every day each year.
Every round pound counts and will go towards a fantastic charity.
