This year I’ve set myself a challenge: 2,022km, in walking boots. Hopefully, even more. The peak of which will be the 100km Cotswold Way Challenge over two days at the end of June. It’s going to be tough, but I’m going to try my absolute best to make it to the finish line. Wish me luck!.

Can I do it? I honestly don’t know. But I’m going to try my very best. Pushing myself to try and achieve what just a few years ago would have felt impossible. Hopefully the determination will help me through. To help me along my walking journey, I’ve decided to try and raise some money for this brilliant local charity: Thomas’s Fund. Thomas’s Fund provides music therapy to children and young people with life limiting illnesses and/or disabilities. Music is a huge part of our lives as a family, both personally and professionally. I know first hand how powerful it can be. Music therapy allows young people with additional needs to communicate and interact through music, reducing anxiety, developing expressive language skills and increasing sensory awareness amongst many other benefits.
