Hi everybody myself,sister and nephew are doing the tough Mann challenge to raise money for the charity Nest, my son Leon suffers with fsgs nephrotic syndrome which means the kidneys leak protein.
He was diagnosed when he was 2 he's now 4 years old, he has spent alot of time in hospital with various infections/swelling of the body and so much more.
At some point he will be going onto dialysis and then go on to have a kidney transplant but this is not a cure for his condition as there's a 60% chance the condition will return in the new kidney.
Everyone that knows Leon knows what he has been through. he is such an amazing young boy who fights this condition everyday with a gorgeous smile on his face he is one in a million.
