Michelle Saunders is raising money for Paws2Rescue
Story
On the 26th of September I will be travelling to Romania with a group of volunteers to work in one of the largest charitable animal rescue shelters in Romania. I will be helping to look after the dogs as well as spending time in the local community raising awareness around the shelter and the good work that it does, I hope to spread the word that rescuing and adopting a dog can be an incredible rewarding experience!
I know this because I speak from experience, my husband and I have 3 Rescue dogs from Romania, Mouse, Samira and Gibson. Alison, the founder of paws 2 rescue, and her loyal team of volunteers have managed to save and re-home thousands of dogs in Romania... an amazing Lady indeed.
All money raised will go directly to Paws 2 Rescue, so they can continue the valuable work they do. This wonderful charity rescue so many dogs who have been mistreated or abandoned, and whilst they are mainly focused in Romania, as the charity continues to grow and expand they are also starting to have success rescuing dogs across the globe. They provide food, shelter and much needed veterinary treatment, as well as neuter and education programmes focusing on changing the practises and values of future generations with the aim to reduce the number of strays on a global scale.
