I've been volunteering with Muirfield Riding Therapy for the last few months and have been privileged to see the amazing work they carry out.  Children who spend their lives in wheelchairs grinning as they look down on people for the first time from the back of their pony.  Boys who, at the start of the block of lessons, are too nervous to get near the pony - on their last lesson giving their pony a hug to say thank you. Girls who have difficulty with their core stability, building their physical strength through the horses movement.  And all offered free of charge by an amazing group of volunteers.

Each lesson for each child takes £15 of fundraising to support it. Most blocks are around 8-10 weeks.  So my challenge is to raise as much as I can so more children can benefit from spending time with our wonderful ponies.
