We fund Kidney Research to to help save lives and ease suffering

Story

My family have been affected by kidney disease long before I was born. My father, Peter died before treatment was widely available 52 years ago, my sister Angela received a transplant 32 years ago and last year my eldest son Tom received a kidney from his Dad, Roger after 2 years on dialysis. I want to raise as much money as possible to help with research, to give something back in thanks for the great work they do. The event is not until February  but I am setting this site up in plenty of time and don't worry I will be posting it again and again to remind anyone wishing to donate. I also have official sponsor forms for those wishing to donate that way. I hope I do you proud, I can do this, WE can do this. Thanks in advance

About the charity

Founded in 1970 as the Yorkshire Kidney Research Fund, we support research into the problems associated with all aspects of kidney disease. Now known as Kidney Research Yorkshire, we rely on donations, fundraising, voluntary support and legacies to help us fund kidney research in the region.
