You were incredibly generous earlier this year by sponsoring me for the Brighton Marathon and helping me to raise money for Homeless International.

I am afraid I am running again – this time the New York Marathon in a month’s time. While I was going to give you a break from harassing you for money again (this year), I have heard about a wonderful charity called HOPE HIV, which supports children and young people in Sub-Saharan Africa who have been orphaned or affected by HIV/AIDS.

In addition to running NY for this charity, I will also be taking part in running 12 marathons in 12 days in December (not all 12 but you never know I really might be that crazy).

I know you have already sponsored me this year, I know you have already been so generous…but I am (quietly – no shouting and bribing this time!) asking if maybe you would consider doing so again.
