Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have set this page up to support my brother Michael's fundraising efforts. Most of you know him as Mick.
As most of you know on 11th July 2017 Michael's life changed forever when he was hit by a car whilst walking to work.
He fought against all the odds, we were told to prepare ourselves for the worst twice in 48 hrs, he spent 6 weeks in intensive care. We were told he'd never walk or talk again, he spent almost 3 years in hospital complex care, but with the determination only Michael could possess, he now drives us all nuts with his cheeky banter. He will require 24hr care for the rest of his life due to his traumatic brain injury.
But he is alive, walking and talking, he is living that life, and now he's pushing boundaries to live a fulfilling life of any 40 something year old (,don't tell him I said that, he still claims to be 34!)
Michael with the support of his amazing physio has decided to complete 'The Anfield Abseil' to raise money for Halton Haven Hospice in Runcorn. A place that holds a special place in our families hearts.
