My nephew Sam has leukaemia and is about to undergo 6 months of chemotheropy at Great Ormond Street. Less than two years ago he was there to have heart surgery to fix holes in his heart. He has gone through all of this and he is only two years old but unfortunately these health complications are all too common amongst children born with Downs Syndrome.

I am running to try and show my support for Sam as he undergoes this treatment in the next 6 months but also to raise money for PSDS which is a charity which provides support to families with Downs. They provide invaluable support for children with Downs Syndrome but also their siblings and parents and I know from my amazing sister and brother-in-law quite how valuable resources like this are.
