On the 10th April 2015 I intend to embark on a 850 mile journey by foot across the entire length of England, and at the same time visiting all the breweries which fall close to the route. Whilst on route, I hope to discover the true meaning of "craft beer". This journey will commence from the Ales of Scilly brewery in St Mary’s, the most southernmost brewery in England. Approximately 50 walking days later my trek will end at England's northernmost brewery, Bear Claw in Berwick upon Tweed. My trip will be in memory of my step-father, Bruce Gunn, and brother-in-law, Richard Whiteley, who both had their lives cut tragically short after losing their battles against Bowel Cancer.
