Type 1 diabetes is an awful disease, especially for kids.

My daughter Emma was diagnosed 6 years ago, age 9, and it was immediately life changing for her.

Through the support of lots of wonderful people at the NHS and charities like JDRF she copes brilliantly.

There are now amazing technical products which really help kids live a near normal life. These have been made available to so many children and adults alike through support of charities such as JDRF.
