Story
Miles died in an accident whilst walking with friends in Peru. This charity provides advice and support for the homeless as well as campaigning for change and defending the right to a safe home for everyone. Miles’s home, family, friends and pets were everything to him and he spent time talking to, and helping the homeless in Bath, so we think this is a charity he would have chosen.
Update: On 10th June 2025 Miles would have been 25. We hope he would be pleased that over £6000 has been raised in his name to help the homeless problem to date.
As a memorial to Miles, we have placed a bench on Ockley green, between the cricket clubhouse and the cricket pitch. This seemed a suitable spot as he loved Ockley and spent many hours on the green. ‘He will not be forgotten, we promise him that.’
We will be continuing to give and raise money to Shelter in Miles’s name.
