Story
Hello guys,
Joe Edge, 17, was involved in a tragic motorbike accident earlier this year.Despite the best efforts of the Midlands air ambulance he passed away several days later in hospital.
The West Midlands air ambulance service covers of 5,000 square miles and consitutes the largest air ambulance operating area in the UK.It receives no Government or National Lottery funding, however it needs in excess of £6.5 million each year to keep its three Air Ambulances operational.
Yourself or someone you know may be involved in an accident, and the extra time an air ambulance may save in the "golden hour" can make all the difference.
To fundraise for the Charity my brother and I will be doing the London 10km in July. And then in September, alongside Joe's sister, Lauren and the rest of the cousins, we will be attempting to beat the mud, obsacles, electricity and everything else Tough Mudder has to offer. This is something particular close to the heart, as Lauren and Joe had planned to do this event together beforehand.
Please donate what you can no matter how small as everything counts and will be much appreciated! Baker Tilly have also kindly said they will double the money raised!
Thank you very much,
Miles
p.s Gift Aid increases the value of donations to charities by allowing them to reclaim basic rate tax on your gift. So please select that option!
