Three years ago my brother Tommy got diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.  He was a very sporty, healthy, active teenager and this proves this can happen to anyone.  I believe he has dealt with his Diabetes amazingly well and has not let it get in the way of doing the things he enjoys the most.  As one of his little sisters, I wanted to do something for Tommy and every other Type 1 Diabetic.  For as long as I can remember I have had long hair and therefore, I have decided I am going to cut it off to raise money for JDRF.
