Clean and easily accessible water is often taken for granted by us. There are parts of the world where the lack of clean water leads to terrible consequences.

Young, vulnerable and old people sometimes travel far to fetch water in severe weather conditions. 

Consuming unclean water has led to illnesses and in extreme cases, death. 80% of illnesses in developing countries are water related. Young people are suceptable to these deseases due to their weak immune system. 1 in every 5 childs death in a developing country is a result of a water related illness.

By providing clean water, we can help save lives and improve the quality of life amongst these disadvantaged communities. Penny appeal works to build a water well for those in need of reliable and clean water in their area.
