Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. Many of you have asked where to direct a gift or donation in memory of Ming Kwong Lee who passed away last week. To say that Ming wasn’t a ‘flowers person’ would be a bit of an understatement, so we felt as a family that St. Margaret’s Hospice, Glasgow would be a very worthy and meaningful cause to give to.

Ming had a short stay at the hospice in Clydebank at the end of a relatively quick battle with illness. The whole family were deeply touched by the level of care, support, attentiveness, and love shown to him and us by all the staff there. They treated him with great dignity befitting of a place that is undergirded by the sense that every person is made in the image of God and therefore inherently valuable, whatever stage of life they are in. This highly committed level of care at St. Margaret’s is only possible through giving of this sort as we understand that it relies on donations for much of what it does so well. So we hope that these gifts will contribute to that as well as being a small token of our own gratitude.

Thank you to those who donate to this charity through this page. We are thankful for your friendship and support shown in this way. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
