Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page;

Sadly at some point in our lives, each of us running has been affected by Cancer, whether it be a close family member, a colleague, business associate or friend. For Barns Green we will be running in memory of Glenn Mishon who lost his battle three years ago now but in honour of everyone fighting this terrible disease each day.

During our various fundraising activities this year we have tried to support different Cancer charities but with the building of the new Cancer unit at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, we really wanted to raise funds for the amazing charity that is Macmillan.

This is a hilly half marathon, so 13.2miles of ups and downs, and each step will hurt but we know that by doing this we are helping one more person with their struggle and this will help us through it. The more we raise the more determined we will be to finish strong so please dig deep and spare anything you can.

Training is going well with a 7 mile hill run being done weekly up, King George VI Avenue (Snakey Hill for those locals amongst us) no mean feat I can assure you.

Please help us reach our target and sponsor us today.
