We empower the world's poorest communities to break them out of the cyle of poverty.

Story

In October 2016, I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Mission Possible programme run by Islamic Help. This was in memory of my nephew Rehan Kasmani who had passed away earlier that year.

Through everyones donations and our fundraising event, I had the opportunity to participate in one of the most incredible and humbling experiences of my with 8 complete strangers who I can now call family.

With all your donations we were able to:
-Plant trees
-Distribute crops/seeds/cows/goats
-Build beehives
-Dig water wells
-Distribute stationary and facilities to schools
-Distribute facilities in hospital
-Visit the orphanage and ecovillage and provide them with goods
-Refurbish schools
-Educate locals/schools on hygiene and sanitation -Build and stock shops for beneficiaries

This was all achieved in the space of 10 incredible days.

The amazing thing about this specific 'MISSION POSSIBLE' deployment with this charity is that not only were we helping people survive "in the moment" but our main aim was to give them a head start in creating a business and boosting livelihoods with the facilities we provided which are helping them in the long-term.

I have so many stories to share and could write an endless essay of all the situations, difficulties, happiness, stress, struggles, people, adventures etc we encountered whilst there but nothing will compare to actually encouraging you all to see and experience it first hand for yourselves. From first hand experience I can vouch that you you as a single human can make a change in anothers life either before your eyes by donating or taking part in this venture.

This year, the baton has been passed onto my younger brother Mukhtar Ahmed Kasmani, who is currently in Tanzania to continue working on the projects that we started last year.

Please continue to support this wonderful cause in memory of our gorgeous superhero Rehan and help make a difference to the lives of children less fortunate than our own.

(2016 - Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page in memory of Rehan Kasmani.

My nephew returned to his maker on the 2nd April 2016 and as a family, we would like to raise money towards the Mission Possible project in East Africa which is promoted by Islamic Help. We aim to raise £5000 for the amazing project and we will be participating in a number of fundraising events in his memory.  Everyone is welcome to join in with the events and help fundraise - Let's make it a team effort!

Whether you're donating as an individual or on behalf of a company, your spare £'s (the more the better please) will be going to help a whole village in East Africa with medical, housing and schooling opportunities.)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
