I am doing the British 10k run next week because I want to raise as much money as possible for a service that reaches out to young people like the one in the link above, who are in distress and who often lack the self-respect and confidence that most of us take for granted.

In eight years of growth Muslim Youth Helpline has taken 28,000 calls to date, and now organises community events and campaigns to engage and empower youths across Britain. As the economy slows down, demand for the service is going up while the charity is struggling with funds.
