10,500 people in the UK have ataxia which is a progressive neurological condition that disrupts the messages sent from our brains to our muscles that are used to move, speak, listen and see. Ataxia UK funds research into finding treatments and a cure and provide support until they are found.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the London Marathon in April this year to raise money for such an important charity. Ataxia is a name given to a group  of neurological disorders that affect balance, coordination and speech. Ataxia UK is a charity that provides support and aims to find treatments and cures for people with Ataxia.

This charity means so much to me as my best friend Holly Hipwell has been diagnosed with Friedreich Ataxia. It has always been a goal of mine to raise as much money as I possibly can for her and support such an amazing charity.

Any donations will be very gratefully received! I will keep you posted on my progress with training - here's to smashing this target!!!!!!
