This May I will be volunteering two weeks of my life to assist in the development of healthcare relief work amongst the marginalised communities in the Peruvian Amazon.

I will be joining the Vine Trust which is a charity I was introduced to during my 6 years of living in Scotland. They exemplify how a small local initiative, based in Bo'ness Scotland, can grow and still stay true to their pledge to enable volunteers to make a difference to some of the poorest communities in the world.

In order for this trip to take place I need to raise $2,500 which will go towards healthcare supplies, travel, boat maintenance and keeping this charity running. To help raise awareness and fundraise I will attempt to finish the Napa Valley Triathlon in April, 2014.
