After a little get together with my friend and a glass or 2 of vino I applied for the London marathon. I never expected to get a place but to my horror/surprise I did! Despite 2 slipped discs I am not one to walk away from a challenge so I will give it my best shot and walk the route. I've chosen to support Autism Together by raising sponsorship, as this is a charity close to my heart. I have a close friend whose young son has recently been diagnosed with autism. This has made me aware of the challenges that both families and those affected face, and the fantastic work that this charity does by supporting them and raising awareness.
