My grandmother, Dorothy,  passed away a few weeks ago, having spent her final days with The Lilian Faithful care home, St Faith’s. The staff looked after her in her last days with such compassion and empathy I feel they are fully deserving of any donation no matter how big or small. I am doing this in her memory and to say thank you to them and help enable future residents to live with the dignity and respect they deserve. 

I will be running this marathon on the 6th April. The Exmoor Marathon is a Trail (off-road) Marathon around the northern section of Exmoor. The distance is only one of the challenges: this race climbs over 6000ft completely off-road and is considered one of the toughest marathon courses in the country. The record time is 3hrs44. I will be aiming to come as close as possible to the record time.
