Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. A team of 7; we have some new recruits (introducing Imy, Sophia and Sam) and some 'seasoned' pros (Scotty, Ally, Bev & myself) ready to take on the challenge. If last year is anything to go by; there will definitely be blood, sweat and tears and there might be a pit-stop in Maccie Ds...
We will be walking 26 miles around London throughout the night in our bejazzled bras, joined by over 15,000 men and women, all walking for a united cause.
Walk the Walk funds vital research for Breast Cancer Now - a charity which is very close to my heart. I lost my mum, Alix, to breast cancer in 2005 and I will be walking in memory of her. My mum did the Moonwalk herself back in 2003 and it's very special to know she walked the exact same route. I am always very humbled by people's individual stories and experiences of breast cancer and know this year will be just as inspiring.
Thanking you so much for taking the time to read our story. We really appreciate your donation and will be thinking of you as we deliriously pace through the streets of London on May 11th.
Ellie, Bev, Scotty, Ally, Imy, Sophia & Sam
