Place2Be is a children's mental health charity that works to improve the emotional wellbeing of children and young people. We help them to cope with wide-ranging and often complex social issues including bullying, bereavement, domestic violence, family breakdown, neglect and trauma.

Story

In 2008, a group of motorcyclists rode over 800 miles around England to raise funds for the Credit Suisse Charity of the Year, The Place2Be.  It was an eventful 3 days, what with the torrential rain, a few minor bumps along the way, mechanical challenges and general disagreements amongst the team on whether GPS or maps were the superior route finding tools!  The important thing is, Moto2Be raised over £45,000 for The Place2Be in 2008.
We are doing it again.

This year, the 25th of September will see us heading West, praying for the sun, and covering similar distances to last year.  We will again be visiting Place2Be schools enroute where we will chat to the children and see the excellent work of The Place2Be in action.

All funds raised through Moto2Be will go to The Place2Be – a charity working inside schools to support and nurture troubled children. They provide one-to-one and group counselling sessions, plus a drop-in service open to all school pupils. By providing children with a safe place to explore their problems through talking, creative work and play, they are better able to cope and therefore make better informed decisions about their lives.
