A team from MotoNovo and a collection of our clients will be taking on a Triathlon in June 2022. A huge challenge for those taking part and we are doing so in support of our client and friend, Will Dyer. Will suffered a tremendous loss in 2021 which has had a devastating impact on his family. Will has utilised the amazing services of Jigsaw South East and below shares his story:

‘When Jenny passed unexpectedly in late March 2021 I quickly learnt that whilst I could try to look after myself I would certainly need help and assistance to look after Phoebe (5) and Henry (3). A number of people mentioned Jigsaw SE who happened to be based in East Grinstead where Meridian Finance have also been based for many years. I called and got through to a lady called Jen who was able to provide bespoke assistance to me and explain what mixture of emotions children of this age were going through. I was able to email/call at any time of day where Jen would personally come back to me with a response and guidance to specific queries I had. I remember ringing Jen’s mobile one morning after my daughter had asked me some questions I had struggled to answer and she was able to give me twenty minutes of her time to help structure answers to satisfy Phoebe whilst also gaining insight into her grief and emotions. Jen has also provided training to Phoebe and Henry’s teachers at school and pre-school respectively to help with managing any situations that arise whilst out of my care. The charity needs to raise £300k per year to keep their doors open and I am so hugely thankful for everything they have done for me and my family.’

This is also a charity which I am very keen to support due to my own personal experiences. When I was 12 my brother past away and it was an exceptionally difficult time for myself, parents and my younger and older sister. At the time we didn’t have support services like Jigsaw South East and I know how much we would have benefited from their services. Keeping charities like Jigsaw SE going is imperative to support young children through sudden or known losses.
