Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit us. We are pleased to announce that we have completed this challenge, thank you to everyone who supported us with your donations and by other means.

We are a group of six Year 8 friends currently stuck at home due to Covid 19; to pass some of our time we decided to do a joint challenge. As a group, we are planning to climb to the equivalent height of the summit of Mount Everest and beyond. We plan to achieve this by routinely recording how many steps we do on our stair cases/steps/Incline.

We need to "climb" 50,070 steps altogether to reach the summit from base camp but would like to go further. To achieve this we each need to climb 8,345 stairs.

It would be wonderful if you are able to donate as we have chosen to support Winchester and District Young Carers as they support children our age.
