Story

We would like to say a huge thank you from the whole family to everyone for your generous donations.  We are pleased to say that we all made it to the top of the Gherkin!  The kids were amazing, managing to climb the 38 floors without stopping in 9-10 mins (and could have been quicker if their Dad hadn't slowed them down!).

It was a really amazing experience, and we're really grateful for all of your donations to a very worthy cause.

*******************************************************

In a moment of inexplicable madness the whole Mountford family, the youngest being 8 and the oldest being just old, signed up for the NSPCC Gherkin Challenge. On Sunday 7th September we will be running, walking and probably finally crawling up the 1037 steps / 38 floors to the top of the Gherkin!

It is in aid of a fantastic cause - The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.  Being safe is something many of us, including our own children, take for granted.   The NSPCC help 1000s of vulnerable children and young people in the UK every year.

Cruelty to children must stop, FULL STOP.

Your generous donations will be much appreciated.
