2017 has been a whirlwind of a year - I got married (high point); I lost my grandma and my father-in-law to cancer within the space of a month, weeks before the wedding (definite low point). My cousin's little girl is bravely fighting cancer at the moment; it was her diagnosis and inspirational attitude to her treatment that motivated me to finally donate my hair to the Little Princess Trust.

I have always said that I would cut my hair once the wedding was over - I will be donating my ponytail to the Little Princess Trust, while also trying to raise as much money as possible for cancer research charities (Marie Curie and CCLG #pearlpower).
