Hello, everyone. 

In just under two months I will be running in front of my actual students in order to raise money for the Humanitas charity. Cue sniggers as I stumble, purple-faced and wobbling in all the wrong places, across the finish line to the great amusement of all my super-fit, lacrosse and rugby-playing students. 

So, if you would like a blow-by-blow account of my utter humiliation (with photographic evidence) then please chuck a couple of quid in to the pot and get ready to laugh. 

And yes, I did a charity 5k run nearly two years ago. Suffice to say I did not keep up the habit...
