Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I decided this year it was high time I took the plunge and do my first marathon for charity.  I have chosen Against Breast Cancer as my charity.  I have so many amazing friends and colleagues who have experienced breast cancer.   All of them have survived it, which shows just how much cancer research can do to make a difference.  I would like to help further the research with the goal of creating a vaccine against the disease and hopefully all other cancers. After completing a gruelling three day trek up a volcano, Rinjani, on Lombok Island, Indonesia, last year with my family, I realised I surely had the potential to run a marathon so now is the time to prove it!  My sister Heather, has agreed to do it with me, and, as a veteran marathon runner (9 under her belt) I am sure her experience and guidance (nagging) will help me through. Some of my lovely studio colleagues have already pledged £174 so I need around £326 to reach my £600 target.  Please support me with any amount, it doesn't matter how small as every little helps.  Thank you.
