Story
14/11/2011: Well, we all made it through, with various cuts and bruises and aching muscles, but were all very proud of our times, ranging from 59 minutes to 1hr 13 minutes. Everyone enjoyed the day and now looking forward to doing it again next year!! Gluttons for punishment, all of us!!
Thank you all so much for sponsoring and supporting the whole team, it all really helped us push on and complete the challenge.
08/11/2011: Our Own Team Challenge:
As the event draws closer the team have challenged ourselves further by setting a target time for completetion of under 1 hour. This is going to be a challenge but to spur us all on we will be fining ourselves £5 each for every 15 minutes we are over that 1 hour target.
Therefore if we run over 1hr45mins we will be donating an extra £200 to the fundraising pot ourselves. Please supports us in this very worthy cause.
Team "Muddy Dunster" will be taking in part in Mens Health Survival of The Fittest (yeah right!) in London on 12th November 2011. This includes 10km of running with obstacles en route, and plenty of mud and water!!
As you may know team members Craig and Kevin Dunnes' Mother passed away in April last year and the whole team will be doing this challenge in memory of Janice Ann Dunne, and raising sponsorship for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Completeting this course will be no mean feat for the team!
