In memory of Muhammed Shahid

Story

Last Ramadan our beloved brother, Muhammed Shahid lost a long and hard battle with cancer.

Shahid was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in 2013 at the age of 25. He was fortunate enough to receive various types of treatment to try and cure and prolong his life. During his treatment Shahid also campaigned to raise awareness and educate people about the importance of being a bone marrow donar.

Family and friends of Shahid, are raising money in this blessed month for Beani Bazar Cancer Hospital in Bangladesh. Your contribution can help change the lives of those suffering in one of the poorest countries in the world.

- It can help to establish the first comprehensive cancer care hospital in North East Bangladesh.

- It can help to develop better research programmes, buy essential technology and deliver more effective methods of diagnosing and treating cancer.

- And it can help to raise awareness and provide education on matters of cancer, good health and informed lifestyle choices in the hope that future generations to come are better able to prevent, treat and survive this disease.

There's no contribution too big nor too small.

Please remember to pray for our brother and all others who have returned to Allah (SWT) to be granted the highest ranks in Jannah.

Jazāk Allāhu Khayran.

Thank you.
