We train assistance dogs for mental health to to improve veterans quality of life

Story

Veterans With Dogs trains and provides assistance dogs for current and former members of the British Armed Forces with service-related mental health conditions.Veterans With Dogs' assistance dog programme is the first of its' kind in the UK.We're helping Veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and other mental health conditions, cope better with their symptoms and enabling them to lead more independent lives.

As part of the Multiplex Veterans committee and in light of being awarded the gold employer recognition scheme we would like you to take part in donating to Multiplex The Three Peaks Challenge! A few of the Multiplex team plus our subcontractor's will be completing the challenge in 36 Hrs.

We have planned to support 2 Charities:

- Veterans for Dogs

- Project Recce

These two charities are small by comparison and need our help, please take the time too at their websites and donate what you can

Project Recce has a simple mission: to become the number one organisation in the UK for veterans wishing to enter employment in the construction industry.

In partnership with The Royal Foundation and The Armed Forces Covenant Fund, we are developing a pathway for veterans, regardless of previous experience, to acquire suitable skills in preparation for a career in the civilian construction industry. We then assist them to secure an interview with one of our strategic partners in the industry.
