Story
I am Annabel Woolmer and I run Tickle Fingers, a project to promote cooking with toddlers. I am passionate about the benefits of getting children into the kitchen and exploring food, as young as possible.
Help for Heroes is an amazing charity that supports our wounded service men and women and a cause close to my heart.
So, between 10am on Wednesday 29th April and 10am on Monday 4th May (during Help for Heroes 'Bake for Heroes' fortnight), I am going to see how many toddlers (aged 1 to 5) I can get having fun with their parents/carers in the kitchen.
There are 2 ways you can support Tickle Fingers Bake for Heroes:
1. Come and bake with me. I will sort the ingredients, recipe and clear up the mess! All you have to do is give a minimum of £5 and turn up with a toddler ready to have fun. Get a group of friends together or come just yourselves. Tea, coffee, cakes & toys will be on tap... Donate online here or bring your donation on the day. Email contact@ticklefingers.co.uk to book a time between 29 April and 4th May.
Or,
2. Bake with a toddler at home. For a minimum of £2, I will send a recipe from the Tickle Fingers Cookbook to try. Donate online here and email contact@ticklefingers.co.uk to request your free recipe. Don't forget to post pics of your toddler's creations to www.facebook.com/cookwithtoddlers or tweet @cookwithtots using the hashtag #BakeforHeroes.
